I hope you enjoyed the debates and had a great Fourth. Yesterday, we had one departure from the Democratic field and one entry...Eric Swalwell has returned to Congress just as Tom Steyer has thrown his hat into the ring. Things certainly aren't boring! I am on a listening tour about which presidential candidates people favor and my favorites are the same as most of the people I speak to. But we live in a rarefied atmosphere here on the left coast...it will be interesting to see where this all ends up...as long as it is with a Democrat in the White House! And, we must take the Senate as well. Speaking of the Senate, former fighter pilot Amy McGrath entered the race this week to take on Mitch McConnell!

We are very excited to about our upcoming meeting and hope you will join us to hear about this crucial topic as we welcome...

Vice President of Public Affairs

Robert will discuss the "Stop the Bans" actions and help us learn what is at stake and what we can do here in California about this most critical issue.

Ten state legislatures have enacted bans on abortion care in the first 5 months of 2019. With womens' rights to make decisions about their own bodies at stake, we need to stand together and learn what we can do to help those in states where this is happening.
Obviously, these bans are at the top of the Republican agenda and it is critical that we learn and take action NOW.
